These one-of-a-kind race cars are the ultimate collector’s item. With an official license from Sauber Motorsport, AFX used the sponsor logos, livery details and body specs of the real life cars to create the most realistic HO scale version possible.

The Swiss company, Sauber Motorsport, shot off the starting line when it was founded in 1970. After its debut in F1 in 1993, Sauber carved out a name for itself. Not only were they one of the few traditional, privately held teams in the sport, they set standards in the design, development and construction of race cars to this day.

Sauber Motorsport operates and manages the Alfa Romeo F1 Team, conducting full and model-scale testing in the factory’s state-of-the-art wind tunnel providing ground-breaking innovation in the field of aerodynamics. The company’s evolutionary skill and artistry helped earn its induction into the exclusive club of teams to have competed in more than 500 F1 races. In 2022, Sauber Motorsport celebrated 30 years in the sport and continues to dominate both on and off the track.

These cars blow AFX’s already top-of-the-line detail and design rendering out of the water. Their multifaceted logos and deeply sculpted bodies pushed the boundaries of car construction to heights never before seen - much less attempted, at such a small scale.

This livery is unique in that it was created solely for the Italian Grand Prix’s Monza circuit. The Team’s Lead Driver, Valtteri Bottas drove donning his race #77. Born and raised in Finland, Bottas has become a powerhouse driver with a fast-tracked career of 10 race wins and a staggering 67 podiums. The Italian colors of red, white and green show brightly on this car’s livery, contrasting beautifully at full speed with gold wheels.
